Do patient education videos actually help sell dental treatment?

Not the way the vendors at the meetings tell you. They stand up there and claim patients will buy dentistry simply because you played a video. That is not true, and I would not buy a system on that promise. The real value is different and more durable. A video keeps your staff from going numb saying the same thing for the hundredth time, and it stops them from skipping important details, which happens fast when humans repeat a script all day. It also tailors itself to what showed up on the application. And here is the quiet part: when the screen comes on, people stop, listen, and start thinking. So use video, but for the right reasons. It protects consistency and frees your team. The selling still comes from the people in the room.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
