How do I keep patients happy during a long dental treatment plan?

You have to plan for fatigue before it shows up. A patient who is thrilled on day one tells you nothing about how they will feel in month seven. Emotions drift, and you cannot predict where they land. On a long case, seven, eight, nine months, a patient gets sick of the chair, sick of the drive, sometimes sick of you, and then the big delivery day arrives and it does not feel special anymore. So build a special check in partway through. A card, a note, a small treat, something that says we know this is a long haul and we are right here with you. You do not need fancy software. A simple tickler reminder does the job. That one small touch prevents headaches later and protects the relationship you worked hard to earn.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
