How does helping more patients connect to running my practice like a business?
They are the same thing, and that is the part dentists miss. It is easy to feel uneasy about treating any of this as sales, but look at the other end of the pipeline. Past the advertising, past the case presentations, what sits at the bottom line is how many of these patients you helped. We are lucky to be in a business where doing it well and doing good are not in conflict. Plenty of ways exist to make money without helping anyone. This is not one of them. But people have to choose the treatment first, and they do not choose it if your team fumbles it. So getting disciplined about the systems and the accountability is not cold. It is the price of helping more of the people who walked through your door. Do this part right or you simply help fewer of them.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
