How can a dental practice systematically improve its case presentations?
Record them. Every modern smartphone can capture a clean audio recording of a case presentation, and recording is now both cheap and unremarkable to patients (with appropriate consent). Get the recordings transcribed. Review them quarterly with the team. Look for jargon that confused the patient. Look for moments where you talked past the patient’s actual question. Look for hesitations in the close. Most dentists are surprised by what they hear in playback. Things felt clear in the moment that read as a fog on the page. Recording removes the guesswork from improving the conversation that drives most of your revenue.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
