What’s the real ROI on a single dental followup newsletter?
A recent case from a busy practice illustrates the answer. The doctor sent a bi-monthly newsletter to his big-case prospect database. In one week from that newsletter, $60,000 of new production walked in: a $50,000 implant case from a patient who had requested information eight months earlier, and a $12,000 crown-and-bridge case from the wife of a different prospect from three months back. The newsletter cost was probably a few thousand dollars to mail. The case revenue was paid for largely by marketing spent months and years earlier. This is what long-term followup actually returns when practices commit to running it. Most practices skip it and never see those numbers.
