Can a dental practice fill its big-case calendar without mass media?

No. Two to three forms of ongoing mass media are required to generate enough qualified inquiries for steady reconstructive, implant, or other niche work. Most patients who need big cases are not in your existing patient base. They are not being well-served by the general dentist they currently see, who lacks the case-acceptance system or selling skill to offer them the comprehensive option. Mass media is what makes those patients aware of you. Word of mouth alone does not scale to a steady flow of complex cases. Referral pipelines from generalists are unreliable for the same reason: the referring dentist has not raised the topic with the patient in the first place.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
