What basic behaviors make a dental practice more referable than its competitors?

Four that used to be common courtesy and are now scarce. Being on time. Doing what you say you will do when you say you will do it. Saying please and thank you. Apologizing genuinely when you mess up and making it right. These behaviors are not strategy. They are decency. The reason they show up as a strategic advantage is that so few professional settings still observe them. The dentist whose appointments run twenty minutes late as default trains patients to undervalue the practice. The dentist who shows up on time, every time, and apologizes the rare times they cannot, builds referrals. None of these behaviors require new technology, more CE, or marketing budget. They require attention to consistency. Most practices fail at consistency on these basics.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
