Why is confidence the last thing to develop in selling big cases?

Because confidence is earned, not installed. A lot of dentists want to feel sure of themselves the moment they learn a new approach, and it does not work that way. Confidence and mastery sit at the end of the process, after the foundation and after the growth. They come from two things you cannot rush. Time, and practice that you actually inspect. You have to put real reps in, watch your own performance honestly, and refine it over months. Only then does the calm certainty show up, and when it does, the cases start closing in a way that looks effortless to everyone else. So if you feel shaky presenting a large case right now, that is normal. You are early. Keep practicing and keep inspecting your work, and the confidence arrives on its own schedule. You cannot skip to it.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
