Which rooms in my dental office matter most for selling, and how should I set them up?

Focus your energy on three zones. The consult room where you present fees, any area a patient only passes through during the sales process, and the reception area where their first impression forms. Those carry the most weight, so fix those first. Now the setup itself. Never present fees sitting across a desk from the patient like a banker denying a loan. The desk becomes a barrier, and the data is clear that it lowers trust and hurts the decision. Sit beside them or at a corner so you’re working the problem together, not facing off. Run an honest walkthrough of those three areas, list what feels cheap, cluttered, or contradictory, and put each fix on a real timeline. Comfortable, clean, and coherent beats expensive every time.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
