Why is sending a thin brochure insufficient for serious dental inquiries involving thousands of dollars?
Because the asymmetry between what the patient is being asked to commit to and what they are given to evaluate is too large. A full-arch implant case, an advanced cosmetic case, or a comprehensive reconstruction can run tens of thousands of dollars. The patient is weighing whether to make that commitment to a particular practice, with a particular doctor, in a particular city. A single ADA pamphlet and a brief return call cannot possibly carry the evidentiary weight that decision requires. The patient who senses that mismatch goes searching for more information, usually online, and the next search result becomes a competitor practice that put real effort into the response. The lead is lost without the practice ever knowing. Practices that match the depth of their response to the size of the commitment hold the lead. Practices that send the same brochure to every inquiry, from a single filling to a full-arch case, miss the high-value prospects.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
