Do patients with money always have higher intelligence?
No. A twenty-five-year longitudinal study from Dr. Jay Zagorsky at Ohio State University found no meaningful statistical correlation between savings and intelligence. The patient writing the check for your reconstruction case may score below average on standardized intelligence tests. The patient scoring 130 may have no savings at all. Practices that target only the ‘smart’ segment of their market with sophisticated messaging lose access to the broader pool of patients who can actually afford care. Pitch wide. Make every message understandable by everyone. The bank balances are spread across the bell curve, not concentrated at the top.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
