Why are third-party endorsements the most underutilized advantage in dental marketing?
Because dentists default to talking about themselves and patients tune that out. Most societies dislike braggers. A dentist saying ‘I’m the best’ triggers eye-rolling reflexively. The same claim coming from a fellow dentist, a dental lab director, a local professional, or a published article carries weight that self-praise cannot. Dental boards prohibit explicit self-claims of being better than others. They typically do not prohibit what other people can say about you. The gap is enormous and most practices ignore it entirely. Build a library of endorsements from colleagues, classmates in other markets, dental labs you work with, and other local professionals (attorneys, accountants, physicians). Each one is a piece of marketing collateral you can use indefinitely.
