Why am I afraid to let other dentists know how much I earn?
Here is the truth that takes most dentists by surprise: no one really cares how much you make. You build that fear up in your head and it feels enormous, but the moment you sit in a room of other doctors you realize everyone is on their own track. Some make more than you, some make less, and the number itself is only interesting as fuel for new skills and new opportunities. Money is a means, not a scoreboard. The dentist who guards his income like a secret is usually protecting an ego, not a strategy. Drop it. The energy you spend hiding what you earn is energy you could spend learning how to earn more, which is the only conversation worth having anyway.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
