Should I set reminders to follow up with undecided implant patients?

Yes, and the reminder is for you before it’s for them. If a patient came in, got every question answered, and still walked out undecided, that case lives or dies on whether anyone remembers it exists. I put a hard reminder on the 45 day expiration of their plan so I can nudge them before it lapses, and another at 60 days for a follow up letter paired with a call. Without those triggers the case just evaporates, and you’ll never know how many you lost to nothing more than forgetfulness. Think of it like a recall in your hygiene schedule. You’d never trust your memory to bring patients back for cleanings, so don’t trust it here either. Build the follow up into a system that fires whether or not you’re thinking about it that week.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
