What question should I ask a caller asking how much dental implants cost?
Do not just quote a price. When someone asks how much an implant is, you answer with a question that uncovers why they really called. Say their name, then ask, Mary, what got you to give us a call today about the investment for implants. Notice two things. You say investment, not cost. And you plug back in what they already told you, so they never snap back with I just told you. They feel heard instead. What you are hunting for is the emotional pain, the itch, the tickle, the thing that made them say I cannot wait another day. Price is almost never the real driver. End the question on the word today and pause. Tilt your head a little, stay quiet, and write down whatever pours out. That answer is the fuel for the rest of the call.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
