Should I give patients an information packet if they call but don’t book a consultation?
Yes, and it might be the single most overlooked move in most practices. In the typical office someone calls, no appointment gets booked, the phone goes down, and that patient vanishes into the ether. That is the routine almost everywhere. You already paid to make that phone ring, usually through external marketing, so why let it end there? Put something physical in their hands. Patients who can’t afford treatment now often can later, but if you give them nothing tangible they will not remember who you are. A booklet, a packet, a CD, anything they can hold keeps you in the running for months or years. It costs lots of dollars to earn that first call and only pennies to stay in their mind after it.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
