Are sales closing techniques worth learning for dental case acceptance?
No. Forget the closes. When dentists go looking for sales training, they usually find a course built entirely on closes. Patient says this, you say that, here is how you handle the objection, back and forth. That approach is from a dead age. Nobody in any successful sales profession sells that way anymore. The good ones use systems that do the real work long before the moment of decision, so there is no trick at the end. Think about every bad used-car story you know. Someone got pressured or slid in on a slick line, and it did not end well. That is exactly the category you do not want to be in, and ethical dentistry has no business there. Stop hunting for the perfect close. Build the steps that earn the yes before you ever ask for it.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
