Does the big-to-small presentation rule apply to single tooth cases too?

Yes. People assume the sequencing only matters on the giant full-arch cases, but it works exactly the same on a single tooth. The principle isn’t about dollar size, it’s about how a person processes choices once you put them in order. Start with the best, most complete solution for that tooth, then the compromises, then the bare minimum. Whether the case is worth thirty thousand or three hundred, the patient still anchors on whatever you say first. I’ve watched dentists save the big-arch discipline for the big-arch day and then fumble the routine cases because they switched their habit off. Don’t. Run the same order every time so it becomes muscle memory. Consistency in how you present is worth more than tailoring a clever script per case.
