Why should a dental treatment presentation last no longer than twenty-five minutes total speaking time?

Because attention span and comprehension drop sharply after that window, and a presentation that drones past it stops landing with the patient. The twenty-five-minute limit covers the doctor’s portion: summarizing the problem, presenting the options, walking through the fees, and answering questions. The patient may need additional time afterward to discuss financing with the financial coordinator and to talk privately with their support person. The hours of preparation that produced the presentation get compressed into that twenty-five-minute window. The discipline forces the doctor and team to identify what is truly essential and to cut everything else. The patient walks out with the central facts crystal clear and the decision framework intact. A forty-five or sixty-minute presentation buries the central facts in detail the patient cannot retain. The case dies in information overload that nobody intended. Twenty-five minutes is the ceiling. Hitting it requires real preparation. The preparation pays back in conversions.
