What is a “unique reason why” facility tour and how does it differ from a generic office walkthrough?

It is a scripted tour led by a trained team member that directs the patient’s attention to specific aspects of the practice that demonstrate the doctor’s unique expertise and value proposition. A generic tour points to rooms in order: this is our reception area, this is the operatory, this is the consultation room. The patient registers nothing distinctive. The unique reason why tour tells a deliberate story. As the team member walks the patient through the office, they highlight the specific equipment, technology, training photographs, awards, or design choices that support the practice’s positioning, always framed in plain non-technical language and always anchored in loss minimization for the patient: how this feature reduces risk, increases comfort, improves outcomes. The tour ends back at the consultation room. The patient has now absorbed a coherent narrative about why this practice is different from competitors in the area. The tour script is written by the doctor and rehearsed by the team until it is delivered consistently.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
