Why should a dentist surround themselves with other successful dentists?
Because you become the people you spend time with, and that’s not a slogan, it’s a pattern I’ve watched play out for years. Hang around dentists who don’t do anything and you’ll slowly evolve down to their level. Hang around producers and you rise. I learned long ago that the fastest way to get better is to spend time with people who are better than me in the exact areas I want to improve. Nothing energizes me more than a room of doers, and nothing drains me faster than parasites. A good peer group isn’t a bunch of cheerleaders. It’s other creative practice owners who’ll tell you the truth about your blind spots in marketing or case acceptance. Look hard at who you let into your professional circle. If they’re not pulling you up, they’re quietly pulling you down.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
