Should my office tour talk about all my advanced technology?
No, and this is where good dentists lose patients. You are proud of the scanner, the laser, the milling unit, and you want to show it off. The patient does not care. They cannot tell your cone beam from a hair dryer, and a feature list does not move anyone. What moves people is loss minimization, framed in words they actually use. We do this so you do not lose another tooth. We do this so you never sit in a waiting room wondering what is happening. No matter what gear you own, translate it into what the patient stops losing. Keep it non-dental. The technology can sit quietly in the background as proof, but the story coming out of your mouth on that tour should be about their loss, not your toys.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
