How does happiness in practice connect to doing more procedures I love?

The two feed each other, and most dentists badly underestimate it. When you do more of the procedures that put you into a state of flow, the deep focus where the work absorbs you and time disappears, you come home different. Doctors who make this shift report real changes in their happiness, in the operatory and at home. It is not a soft side benefit. It is a direct result of changing your behaviors and your environment so your days fill with work that engages you instead of work that drains you. A practice built only around what pays, with no thought to what energizes you, slowly burns you out no matter how much it earns. Look at your schedule and ask how much of your week is flow and how much is grind, then steer toward the former.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
