Is the front desk phone really that important for big implant cases?
It’s everything, and most dentists treat it as an afterthought. The phone is the bridge from the outside world into your practice. For your most significant cases, the ones worth real money, people still pick up the phone and call. Email books cleanings, not full-arch reconstructions. So if marketing creates the interest but the call gets fumbled, you’ve paid for a lead and thrown it away. I put it bluntly. If you’re marketing hard and not closing appointments, you’re staying even in a tank full of sharks. You’re spending and spending and the money drains out the moment that first call goes sideways. Treat the phone as the most valuable thirty seconds in your whole practice, because it is.
