Should I use a checklist for new patient phone calls?

Yes, and I would not run a sales process any other way. When your questions live on a checklist, they are defined, repeatable, and they get asked every single time regardless of who picks up the phone. Without that, the call becomes random, and random is the enemy of any system. You want to find the patient’s pain, confirm the right information packet went out, and note all of it. A checklist also tells your team what kind of materials to send and records it, so nothing falls through. Think of a pilot running a preflight list. They are experts, but they still read it line by line, because memory fails and the cost of a miss is too high. Treat your phone the same way. Defined steps, listened-to answers, written down. That is how you remove the randomness and actually control your front end.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
