Why doesn’t training a dental team once on a case acceptance system stick?
Because humans forget. The professional bias toward retention assumes that anyone exposed to a system once will remember it forever, the way the doctor remembers clinical procedures from school. That bias is wrong for non-clinical work, which most team members never master to the same level. Without scheduled repetition, the specific scripts, qualifying questions, and sales sequences drift back to the team’s natural conversational defaults within months. Annual rehearsal is the minimum. Quarterly reinforcement is better. Without it, the system you spent weeks installing fades like a New Year’s resolution. Repetition is not optional. It is the only way structured selling stays in the practice’s operating system.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
