What case acceptance rates are realistically achievable on $15,000 to $100,000 dental cases?
Fifty to seventy percent acceptance on qualified prospects who reach the case presentation stage, when the right marketing, internal systems, and practice management are all in place. The 50 to 70 percent figure applies to the subset of patients who have made it through the practice’s screening and qualification process. It does not apply to total inquiries or to the broader population of patients with dental problems. The earlier stages of the funnel filter most prospects out long before they reach the case presentation. The patients who do reach the case presentation have already self-qualified, demonstrated readiness to engage, received substantial information, and shown up for a structured CDP visit. At that point, with a competent case presentation delivered through the structured selling system, more than half of those patients commit to one of the recommended treatment options. The math illustrates why the front-end work matters. Practices with weak screening get low conversion at the case presentation because unqualified prospects mix into the pool. Practices with strong screening reach the 50 to 70 percent band because by the case presentation, the funnel has done its work.
