I worry that dentist coaching groups are cliquish and I won’t fit in?
I hear this and I understand it, but a good group is built so no clique or single personality can dominate. When the format gives everyone equal time and attention, the cliquishness has nowhere to grow. The honest part is this: you get out of it exactly what you put in. Stop worrying about fitting in and focus on bettering your best and using the systems, and you fit just fine. Early on I had to remove people who showed up with their own agenda and tried to undermine the room. That experience taught me to screen hard for energy-givers and screen out energy-drainers. There is a lesson for your own practice in that. Build the same filter for the patients and team you take on, and the quality of everyone around you climbs.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
