What if a competitor is in the same dental coaching group as me?
It’s a far smaller risk than the fear makes it feel. In tightly run groups it rarely happens at all, and when two dentists from nearby markets do land in the same room, here’s what actually plays out: they almost always become friends and end up forming a strategic alliance. They figure out quickly that there’s more to gain from cooperating than from competing. As entrepreneurs we live in a world of creative abundance, not rigid scarcity. That scarcity mindset, the one that says another good dentist nearby is a threat, is itself one of the bigger barriers I see. Your real competition was never the practice across town. It’s the person staring back at you in the mirror, and the habits you haven’t fixed yet. Worry about that one.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
