Should a dental practice invest in large monitors for the consultation room?

Yes. A 32-inch monitor sells for around $400. Without it, intraoral camera images, x-rays, simulation views, and treatment options have to fit on a small screen the patient struggles to see. With it, every visual asset you use becomes dramatically more impactful. The patient sees their own tooth condition magnified. They see the proposed cosmetic outcome at near-life size. They see the x-ray annotations clearly enough to follow what you are pointing at. Investing in a small monitor signals a small practice. Investing in a big monitor signals a serious clinical operation. The price difference is minor. The impression on case presentation is meaningful. Most practices that hesitate on this end up with the small monitor and never measure what it costs them.
