Can dental patients who couldn’t afford treatment initially become cases years later?

Yes. A small percentage of patients who were not initially qualified for big-case treatment will move forward years after their first interaction with the practice. Their financial circumstances change. They receive an inheritance, sell a business, finish paying off another major obligation, or simply decide the dental issue has waited long enough. Practices with disciplined long-term followup systems capture these cases. Practices that wrote off the initial no and stopped communicating miss them. Followup never ends. The Type 1 patient of today can become the Type 3 patient of three years from now, without you ever knowing why their situation changed.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
