How do I stop losing implant cases to a competitor’s second opinion?
If you do nothing, here is exactly how you lose it. The other office undercuts your fee by a thousand dollars, the patient signs, and you just sold the case for them on a silver platter after doing all the work. The fix is to send the patient into that second opinion armed with questions. Make it about more than the fee. Does that lower number actually cover everything? Is there any promise or warranty behind it? Will there be more hassle, more surprise charges, in the other chair? You’re not badmouthing anyone. You’re handing the patient a checklist that exposes the gaps cheap quotes hide. Think of Napoleon marching into Russia. The Russians burned everything in his path so his army couldn’t live off the land. Plant those questions and the competitor has nothing easy to feed on either.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
