Should patients have to qualify to be accepted for large implant cases?
Yes, and most dentists get this exactly backwards. We chase patients, beg them to say yes, and act grateful when they show up. Flip it. When the patient understands that not everyone is accepted into your care, the whole dynamic changes. Suddenly they are the one paying attention, wondering if they measure up, rather than you wondering if they will book. I build a short application into my process for big cases. It does double duty. It tells me whether the patient’s perception of their problem matches reality, and it surfaces the real pain that is driving them. But the quiet power is the loss it creates. The patient who fears not being accepted is far more motivated than the one you are pursuing. Stop selling. Start screening, and let them earn the chair.
