Why should I record my own treatment consultations?

Because you have no idea what you actually sound like in there. None of us do. You think you are clear, warm, and persuasive, and then you hear the tape and realize you talked for nine minutes straight and never asked the patient a single question. Record one of your first-visit consultations this week. Just one. Watch it the way a coach watches game film, not to feel good but to see what is really happening. Then do the same with your office tour. Most consultations fall apart in places the dentist never notices, because you are inside the moment instead of above it. Once you can see your own patterns, you can change them. Improvement starts with an honest recording, not with a new script you hope works better. Tape yourself before you change a single word.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
