What is the research and reporter trap that keeps dentists stuck?

It is the habit of collecting more technical knowledge instead of doing more treatment, and most of us fall into it without noticing. We are trained as a research and reporter occupation. We study complex information, then report findings back to the patient and make a recommendation. That is a fine starting point, but a lot of dentists never leave it. They keep stacking credentials, diplomates, fellowships, and continuing education, getting better and better at the technical side while the case never gets done in the office. The credentials feel like progress. They are really just more of the same skill you already had plenty of. If your CE hours keep climbing but your accepted case volume does not, you are stuck in research and reporter mode. Spend that next investment on learning to actually close treatment instead.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
