What should actually happen during a free implant consultation?
Talk, do not drill. The free visit is for the patient to meet you, understand you, and like you, with reciprocity working the whole time. Get some basic educational materials on the table and walk them through it, but keep the focus on conversation. Do not slide into a full clinical examination, because that is one of the fastest ways to blow out your time investment. If it is an extended or complex case, catch that on the front end so your system can route it correctly, and for serious problems some full mouth imaging belongs here. Ask the key questions that reveal what is really driving this person, including a read on their dental IQ. Then always close with a clear, logical next step so the process stays predictable. Your fifteen minutes builds trust and direction. Save the deep clinical work for after they have said yes.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
