What should my team do when a caller asks for the price of implants over the phone?

First, understand what is actually happening, because most teams misread it. A price question is rarely a real request for a number. It is the only question the caller knows how to ask. They want to know if you can help them and whether they can trust you, and price is the proxy they reach for. If your team just blurts a figure, the call ends and so does your shot. They also need to know what they legally and ethically can and cannot say about cost over the phone, which varies. So train them to acknowledge the question, then move the conversation toward the patient’s real situation and a consult where a number means something. A price quote with no relationship is a hang-up waiting to happen. Treat the price call as an opening, not a vending machine.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
