How do I make a weekly team meeting stick instead of fizzling out?

Make it short, fixed, and non-negotiable. The instinct is to think a real meeting needs thirty minutes or an hour. It does not. Fifteen minutes done every single week beats an hour done whenever you remember. What makes it work is not the length, it is the consistency. Same day, same agenda, same numbers pulled together in advance, and everyone shows up because it is part of the rhythm of the practice. When your team can predict it and you have the discipline to never skip it, the meeting gets efficient on its own. People come prepared because they know what is coming. If fifteen minutes is all you can sustain, run fifteen minutes, because that beats zero by a mile. The failure is not a short meeting. The failure is an inconsistent one.
