What should dental team members actually say to reinforce the doctor’s expertise?
Specific, natural lines that fit normal conversation. ‘You’ve made the right decision. Dr. Smith is the best in the field for your situation.’ ‘If I had this kind of problem, she is who I’d want to see.’ ‘We’ll take good care of you, just like the patients whose photos are on our walls.’ ‘Dr. Smith doesn’t agree to take on every case, only the ones she knows she can really help.’ Lines like these, woven into pre-op chats, hygiene visits, and post-op calls, build the doctor’s credibility in the patient’s mind every visit. The team must mean them, which is why the doctor’s actual conduct has to back them up. Insincere lines register as marketing copy and patients tune them out.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
