Should I just email patients a PDF of their treatment plan instead of presenting it in person?
No. I know it feels efficient, and that is exactly the trap. The second you turn a case report into a PDF and email it, you strip out every tool that actually moves a patient toward yes. There is no warmth, no walking them through the smile image, no takeaway discussion, no reading their own words back to them. You hand all that power to a file sitting in their inbox next to spam. You will accept less treatment, help fewer patients, and watch big cases evaporate. The document is a reference tool for a conversation, not a replacement for one. Print it, sit with the patient, and let the report do its job while you do yours. Convenience for you is almost always a cost to the case.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
