How long should a dental practice follow up with a new implant prospect?
Six months of real contact when they schedule, then once a year forever. Most offices do zero, which is why they leave so many cases on the table. Here’s the cadence I want. When a consult gets booked, you follow up twice in the first month, then once a month for the next five. That’s six months of personal touch with a patient considering a serious case. After that, they drop into an annual hopper where you reach out once a year. Big cases take time to decide, and the person who stays in front of them ethically and consistently is the one who does the case. But none of this happens without the information captured up front and a place to track the next step. No data, no follow-up, no case. Build the cadence and actually run it.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
