Why do dentists keep saying patients call several practices before choosing?

Because they do, and forgetting it costs you cases. A prospective patient is a consumer, and a serious one will typically call three to five dental practices before deciding where to spend their money. That changes how you treat the very first call. You are not the only number on their list, you are one of several, and the one who makes them feel understood usually wins. So the first call is not a scheduling transaction, it is the competition. Let it hit voicemail, sound like a survey, skip the pain, or fail to lock a commitment, and you just handed the case to the practice they call next. Assume every caller is shopping you against four others, and run the call like the appointment is yours to lose.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
