Should I email patients a PDF of their treatment plan to save time?
No. I know it is tempting to build the case report, turn it into a PDF, hit send, and skip the appointment. Resist it. The whole value of this process lives in the live presentation, the conversation, the photos on the screen, the moment the patient acknowledges the consequences out loud. Email the document and you strip every one of those tools off the table. You will get less treatment accepted, fewer patients helped, and a worse result for everyone. The report is not the product, the presentation is, and the report is the script for it. Print it, sit with the patient, walk them through it in person. The time you think you are saving is the exact time that earns the case.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
