Will my patients stay happy with their implant decision months later?

Do not assume so, because we are all terrible at predicting future feelings. People wildly overestimate how they will feel down the road about something decided today, both good and bad. A patient thrilled at the decision point is not guaranteed to feel that way a year into treatment, no matter how clean your work is. And big implant cases run long, months at least, sometimes a year, with plenty of emotion swirling around the finish. You have no control over that drift. So plan for it. Set ticklers in your practice to deliver positive emotional strokes along the way, little check-ins that rebuild excitement. Then play up delivery day hard, because by the time you get there everyone is exhausted and you need to rebuild the happiness that was there when they said yes. Do not assume satisfaction. Engineer it across the whole treatment.

If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
