How does giving patients time actually prevent buyer’s remorse?
By making the decision genuinely theirs. When you build a window where a patient is free to say this isn’t right for me right now, you also build the thing that kills buyer’s remorse. Nobody resents a choice they made freely. They resent feeling pushed. So the same decompression time that lets a patient back out is what makes the patient who stays rock solid. You did not force anything, which means there is nothing for them to feel tricked about later. Think of it like letting someone sleep on a big purchase. The one who slept on it and still buys never returns it. So protect that window. It feels like you are risking the sale, but you are actually buying yourself a patient who stays happy and never asks for the money back.
If the answers you are finding here resonate with you, my team and I work with a small group of clients each year. The next step is a complimentary Discovery Consultation and Practice Review with Dr. McAnally.
