Gone are the days when implant patients were mostly those in dentures. Yes, there are on occasion denture wearers who still need and who will buy dental implants, but the majority of cases right now are those in terminal dentitions (the ailing/failing dentition).

Today’s immediate loading procedures (e.g. All-on-4, All-on-6, etc.) and “get your teeth now” messages are the rallying cries for a rapidly growing segment of the dental population who is 45 and older in age, who fear the denture of their parents, and who want to avoid that device at all costs!

Patients in terminal dentitions want and need full arch implants and are drawn to these new methods of implant placement and restoration IF the messaging is correct in advertising.

Building Trust for Big Cases

A percentage is also willing and able to write checks for treatment if you understand how to become a Most Trusted Patient Advisor with a better relationship with the patient than your competitors (something that isn’t terribly difficult once you have the right training in the sales process).

There are unique advantages the All-on-X procedure has over “traditional” fixed implant therapy; including time in treatment, computer-guided predictability, and reduced cost compared to a decade ago when 8 and 10 implants were routinely recommended for fixed cases and a fee for ONE arch would approach $50K.
